That fire for Jesus
I once had blazing
Has now dimmed inside me
I was warned that it would dim
And I fought against that thought
But the fire dimming
May not be such a bad thing
For when I was blazing with fire
I was also in a bad place
I now understand the fire was a guide
To steer me back on the path
That God has chose for me
And I couldn’t be more glad
The fire is not gone
No not at all
It’s still burning in my heart
Like a candle flame
It will never leave
It will always be here to stay
