My mind was filled with so much chatter
Constant voices of self doubt
Fear of unknowns running all around
Always in the past
Never in the present
I was often asked what I wished for
Peace was always my answer
I did not realize by having God on my side
That it was not difficult to obtain
Building a relationship with Him was the first step
I opened the Bible and read His word
I prayed everyday
Surrendered and obeyed
And let go of what caused sin
Salvation was next in line
Accepting Jesus as my Lord & Savior
Through his love
It came so fast
The peace I was looking for
Was here at last
