My whole life

I wanted love

I thought I found it

So many times

But each man I gave my heart

They took it and ran with it

Multiple heartbreaks later

I am done giving

I am done chasing

Will I ever receive the love I seek?

I am not sure

That is for our God to decide

I will now just seek comfort

With our Lord Jesus Christ
